I'm going to talk a little bit about this pic because it was almost good until I screwed it up. You see, I have this problem of rushing into pictures without thinking them through beforehand. Usually, I can compensate with some tricks or editing in Photoshop, but not this time. The line drawing for this was going really well until I hit two snags: Buckbeak's left front leg (which I've mostly cropped out) and Harry's face which is just... ugh! I just don't think he can be fixed. To make matters worse, I rushed ahead with the watercolor without having a clear idea about how the colors were going to work in the picture and, soon, poor Buckbeak really started to blend in with the sky. I think I've done what I can to fix that in Photoshop, but the damage was done. You can also see how busy the drawing got in the area around their feet - another lack of planning problem. The reason I'm taking the time to rip this picture apart is that there are parts of it I really like - I think Hermione turned out cool, and Buckbeak's face is making me happy. So, live and learn, I guess... Also, it's only Harry Potter fanart, so no big loss to the world
I love it! I have no idea wht ur talkin about, it looks really good. I especially think u did a good job w/ the bakground. The way Harry is looking back at Hermione turned out fantasticly!!

This is so lovely! I really like the sky - it's very dreamlike and contrasts nicely with Buckbeak. Harry and Hermione are great looking; I really love her scarf
Buckbeak looks really excellent, especially his wings and hind leg (weird, I know). Harry's face looks great, and Hermione's looks fantastic!
