Stunningly elegant and beautiful, Papagena by ~bluefooted really caught my eye. It has such a classical style, great composition, and I can't help but adore all those details they've included above the tree. Be sure to check out the rest of this artist's gallery; their work is superb! (Featured by ^savagebinn)

I love the book Marion Zimmer Bradley did on that story. Papagena was such a sweetheart in it. <3 I like the colors in this! and how you managed to capture the part bird part human essence in Papagena and Papageno.

Gorgeous, defnitely a fave! Her one leg seems a bit strangely bent, but otherwise the proportions look good. I love the wings, and the tilt of her head especially.

This is so beautiful it tears at my heart. The way you shift the shapes and the foliage of the tree all give off a scent of Klimt, yet you made it so much your own.

I know the name of this piece, and the opera I believe it is from, but not in english
Lovely.
