Absolutely gorgeous. I've always been a fan of your lineart but when you get around to coloring your stuff, its stunning. The color makes the "puppet" title on the lineart make sense. Very cool idea and, whatever you say, you aren't rusty at watercolors... they're gorgeous. Great work!

one question. do you first color and the do the lineart or backwards? i guess the regular way would be doing the lines first but how come the lines dont get misty with the watercolor here :s.

Awesome! I love her dress, and his feathers - the contrast in colors/figures etc. is really nice also, and the background works well, it's detailed but it doesn't take away from the characters. Really cool

The thing that I like the most about this picture is that it calls to mind the old fairy tales for me. The ones in which things are fantastical because the fantastic is terrifying, and it can enslave and kill you just as easily as anything else. Maybe it's the subject matter, or maybe it's just the look in that guy's eyes. Either way, I really liked the linework, and the watercolors only made it better.
