I favourited this image this morning, but it has haunted me all day.

She is beautiful and fragile... like a rock under a sand storm.


Wionderful work and one of the best images of Alia I have seen. When I read my books I shall have this image in my head!

Well... I ought to have mentioned that I absolutely LOVED this picture. I'm a great fan of Frank Heberts Dune and find St Alia to be a fun character. More to the point I I decided to get it tattooed. Well everyone else seems to get naked ladies (rockabilly) I get a blue eyed girl with bloody hands in a Burka.

Alia is one of my favorite characters from that story. I think the style of this is great and makes here appear both cute and deep. To me it says something that hints at what she's capable of.
