Were you perhaps influenced by the Opera 'The Magic Flute' ?
There is a character in it who is part man part bird named Papageno who captures birds... He's my favourite character in the opera... Enough about the opera! This is a very lovely peice. I really like your style.

Wow, this is amazing. There's something sort of ironic about the bird catching being a bird himself but I"m sure that was part of the idea. I really like his color too, he stands out and the bird cages really add something to this.
