My entry for Last Man Standing 3, round 2. The theme was 'outbreak', and mine was sort of stream of consciousness...

Anyway, this is very nice. Despite the topic, the birds give an odd feeling of hope and freedom - her soul escaping and scattering back to the world or somesuch.
I could see the colors on them being even a bit brighter or more saturated, but even so it's gorgeous.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the golden parts of the dress - they don't look like digital work at all! More like real gold-plated stuff...
Your style reminds me of the art of Iwan Jakowlewitsch Bilibin (whose artwork I love)
